Pride; people define it in different ways. I believe what actually matters is how we establish our sense of pride. A parcel of my pride comes with my jewish-american identity. Along with my jewish-american pride, my passion for association football makes me who I am. in 2009 I was granted the opportunity to establish both. putting on my jersey for the first time, and seeing the USA logo attach on it really emerged how surreal the opportunity was. i was paying my populace and my religion in the maccabiah games in Israel. the team consisted of twenty of the cornet jewish-american soccer players in America, born in 1993 or 1994. for everyplace a month i lived without my family, and had to adapt to many raspy situations. having to live with nineteen other boys for a month who i had never met before presented itself as my first difficult situation. although i knew none of them, within fifteen minutes of being in the airport, it felt same i knew them my whole action. a side from the soccer piece of the trip, the country itself truly put lifetime into perspective. the touring sites that we visited were incredible. life never flashed in front of me more than when i visited yad vashem.
